Photo Sense 1.7.2 introduces an advanced file naming configuration when saving multiple photos, full screen support on Mac OS 10.7 (Lion), and a number of user interface and behavior improvements. It also fixes several bugs, including a problem in the straighten tool which could appear wrong after resizing the application window.

Photo Sense 1.7.0 introduces an improved Crop & Straighten tool, including a customizable crop aspect ratio. Want to print a photo on a 4x6 paper? Set the aspect ratio of 4x6 (or 2x3) when cropping! In addition, an important bug is fixed, which could occasionally lead to the application crash. Some user interface improvements are made, such as zooming to the actual size (or fitting the image) in Preview on a double mouse click.

Photo Sense 1.5.1 improves the automatic image processing results and performance (it can now be about twice faster). It also adds new creative effects. Photo Sense is coming to iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch!
The image processing algorithm in Photo Sense for iOS is mostly identical to the one used in the Mac OS versions. There is a slight difference in the contrast enhancement algorithm due to the performance issue in the iOS version. In addition, noise reduction and some effects are not present in the iOS version, also due to the performance issue.

Photo Sense can now save images in several formats, configure JPEG quality (compression) when saving in JPEG format, resize (down-sample) images when saving, and copy & paste effects and even crop & straighten settings between images. There are several saving presets to facilitate making a quick choice.
Photo Sense can now be used as a batch image converter/resizer (down-sampler). For images of the same size, it can even be used to perform batch image cropping and straightening.

You can now improve image composition using the Crop & Straighten tool. Batch processing became even easier with the ability to copy-paste (synchronize) processing options between photographs. You can now choose whether the preview should synchronize the compared images position when moving one of them.

You can now give an artistic finishing touch to the photographs by applying various creative effects. These are monochrome effects of two different styles, with several colors: black & white, sepia and other tones, and a pencil drawing effect (monochrome and colorful). As everything in Photo Sense, effects are applied in the batch processing mode.

This release addresses artifacts reduction in the processed photographs. The image processing engine has been adapted to support a greater computation precision. This sometimes significantly reduces the amount of revealed artifacts. Artifacts are mostly visible when brightening dark photographs.

Photo Sense 1.1.1 solves the major problem of the original release. Before, human skin tones often became over-saturated, looked too red. A new option has been added which allows to preserve skin color saturation, while still increasing saturation of other colors.
